## THE DEVELOPMENT OF CALIBRATION FOR THE ROLLING BALLS OF DIAMETER 40 MM IN CONDITIONS OF JSC "SSGPO"

Paper presents a preliminary calculation of the calibration rolls for rolling balls with a diameter of 40 mm in a rolling mill JSC "SSGPO", which will be rolled from round workpieces with a diameter of 40 mm. The main elements of ball caliber are considered, their design dimensions are determined. It is established that the height of the flange varies linearly and the width of the spherical area increases during rolling.

• ## DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF THE HYDRAULIC ARM FOR MOUNTING ON A LIGHT GOODS VEHICLE

This paper is focused on numerical analysis of a hydraulic arm for use on a light goods vehicle. The designed arm is used for loading and manipulation with load up to 300 kg. Its load capacity depends on the light goods vehicle to be placed on. Great operability of this mechanism predetermines its wide application, e.g. in construction, transport, business etc. Firstly, analytical calculations of the forces, moments and reactions are introduced. Further, locations and values of the maximum stress in the structure of the designed hydraulic arm are calculated using the FEM software. These results determine the relevant data necessary for correct design functioning of the machine. After carrying out all the analyses and calculations we will be able to determine the safe use of the designed handling machine and put it into operation.

## ESTIMATION OF ULTIMATE LOADS FOR CLIP CONNECTION WITH PARTIAL SWEEP OF SHAFT

The paper describes promising structures of clip (friction-screw) connections with incomplete sweep of shaft used in the axial fans of pressurization of gas pumping units. The contact problems of interaction between semi-hubs and shaft for the generally asymmetric relatively the joint bolt connections are formulated. Two types of interaction are investigated: with and without lateral displacement. Based on a priori assumption about the distribution laws of contact pressure accepted in traditional courses of “Machine Details” an engineering method for calculating of clip connections is developed. Herewith different types of details coupling (with a gap, matched, with tightness) correspond to concentrated, cosine and sustainable (linear) distributions of contact stresses. There are determined an analytical dependences of limited moments and breakloose forces on spanning angles, bolt tightening force and tribological properties of joined parts of subassembly. The examples of comparative calculation for the variants of clip connection have been presented.
