• ## THEORETICAL MODELING THE INFLUENCE OF RESISTANCETHE MOVEMENT OF FARM MACHINERY

In the design and development of new operating equipment, machinery and apparatuses for agriculture, the main criterion for their evaluation is their resistance in a working environment, or, their specific energy consumption, respectively. To define the resistance in progressive or rotary motion, the specific design features, the mode of impact and the environment parameters should be taken into, consideration. In progressive motion the resistance depends mainly on the speed. It begins to increase considerably at speeds over 5 km.h -1 when the second gear is of extreme importance. With apparatuses using rotary motion it is important to note that the resistance also depends on the square speed. At idle stroke particularly, the excessively high speeds increase significantly the power needed. With fans the main criterion for minimum specific energy consumption can be determined by the specific relations between the power needed, the rotation frequency, the discharge and pressure head.

• ## DETERMINATION OF THE LONGITUDINAL UNIFORMITY OF SOWING MACHINE RAPESEED

An important prerequisite for obtaining a high yield of a crop is to ensure optimal nutritional area for each plant in the crop. The realization of this condition depends mainly on the quality of bolting, and in particular of the longitudinal uniformity of seed sowing. At present, the sowing of rape is done with drills for cereals, which can not fully satisfy the requirement for longitudinal evenness of seeding in this culture.

This results in incomplete use of the resource of the soil and of the genetic potential of the seeds, and the result is to obtain a low yield It is known that on the longitudinal uniformity of sowing influenced by several factors, in this case is given special attention to the distance between the end of the cord and the furrow. After preliminary analysis attempts set the distance between the cord and the groove is 10, 20 and 30mm on each of which is sought intersection between two indicators characterizing the uniformity of seeding. These indicators are the average number of seeds in the section and number of sections with an average number of seeds on which the best result is obtained at a distance of 10mm, where the intersection pochazva frequency performance more than 50%. Submitted test data show that the use sowing machine supports sustainable set sowing rate in each of the trials.

• ## RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE RECOVERY OF WORN-OUT PARTS OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY THROUGH RESOURCE-SAVING TECHNOLOGIES TO INCREASE THEIR RELIABILITY

On the basis of theoretical and experimental studies with the application of the similarity and dimensional theory and planning of multifactorial experiments typical similarity criteria, criterion equations and regression mathematical models of reduction processes are obtained, verification of their adequacy and optimization by means of a steep ascent method is conducted.
The physico-mechanical properties (adhesion strength, hardness, wear resistance) of the obtained metal coatings are investigated and resource-saving technological processes are developed for recovery of worn-out parts of agricultural machinery via iron-plating, electroplating and electric-spark alloying in order to increase their reliability.

As a result of researches the original compositions of electrolytes, accessories and recovery modes are worked out, the novelty of which is justified by appropriate patents and author’s certificate for invention.

• ## Methodology for examination of abrasion resistance of weld coatings in abrasive medium

The results for submerged arc overlaying coatings of parts of agricultural, transportation, construction and forest machinery are achieved. The highest wear resistance was achieved through DUR 600 solid wire electrode, FBTT flux and intermediate alloy of Lin- colnweld 860 flux. The wear of the coatings is very slightly increased for long period of time that provides conditions for long-term predic- tions about their general condition and remaining resource.

• ## Methodology for examination of abrasion resistance of weld coatings in abrasive medium

A method for testing the abrasion resistance of welded coatings in abrasive environment is developed. A major criterion of re- pair coating’s durability evaluation is determined. CT-1 stand for friction and wear resistance in abrasive free environment modeling the working conditions of the details of running gear and transmission chain wheel agricultural machinery has been designed and built up.

The results from combustion testing of air heater AH – 800 with vineyard pruning, tobacco powder briquettes, poplar logs and branches from apple trees pruning, with a certain moisture content and fractional composition are presented. The influence of excess air – α on the efficiency of the combustion process – q of the heater and its environmental indicators: the content of CO2, O2, CO and NO in flue gas is investigated.
