Abstract
Apparatus of the new drive of the segment-finger cutting machine is described. The advantages and disadvantages of cutting device with double stroke of segments of mower are shown. The equations describing the speed and acceleration of the motion of the cut- ting machine’s knife and the results of laboratory and field research and testing of the drive mowers are shown.
