• Fundamental nature of logistic processes and opportunities to digitalization

    Innovations, Vol. 7 (2019), Issue 1, pg(s) 21-24

Industrial development has brought about qualitative changes in the very foundation of innovation and automation. The distinctive features of enterprises with such a type of production are becoming increasingly blurred by the growing tendency for global industrial development. They become heavily dependent on the pace of development of automation, industrial technologies, communications and ever more determined by the factors that most affect and shape the trends of that development. It is therefore of utmost importance to carefully define the distinctive features of modern logistics processes that form the foundation of the respective digital development policies, which is also the primary objective of the proposed paper. These policies are undoubtedly enforced by the very evolution of technology and are likely to define the new directions of cyber development.

  • THEORETICAL PROBLEMS IN INNOVATIONS

INNOVATIVE OBSOLESCENCE AND ITS IMPACT ON PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS

    Innovations, Vol. 6 (2018), Issue 1, pg(s) 7-9

Contemporary industrial development of industrial products defines a new attitude towards their innovative obsolescence, which is of major importance to physical obsolescence. The purpose of this article is to clarify the essence and establish the impact of innovation obsolescence on the socio-economic and social outcomes of this activity. Assessing the impact of this activity on the scale and timing of manufactured industrial products is of the utmost importance for the timely removal of the negative effects of the innovation impact. It arises under the impact of new innovative solutions with more advanced, more productive and better techno-economic indicators than those introduced before.

  • THE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT AND INDUSTRIAL LOGISTICS

    Innovations, Vol. 4 (2016), Issue 1, pg(s) 32-33

The rapid development of innovative industry started to impose so-called service-oriented platform of product development, which means intelligent monitoring, or that the product will be monitored throughout its life cycle – from concept to recycling it. These intelligent products (Smart Products) have informational knowledge of their production processes, logistics and future applications. They actively support the production processes (when they will be produced, with what parameters, what materials should be produced, where it should be delivered, when, what modifications, etc.). In this environment and these conditions the logistical component has a qualitatively new dimension adapted to meet these new requirements imposed by the innovative development – namely, to be in constant optimal contact with the production cyber system.

  • TECHNOLOGICAL BASIS OF “INDUSTRY 4.0”

REORGANIZATION OF THE LOGISTIC PROCESSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF "INDUSTRY 4.0"

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 1 (2016), Issue 2, pg(s) 70-73

The article analyzes the essence, condition and functioning of the existing logistics system. The aim of the publication is to examine approaches to structural changes that must be made in the logistics system to bring it to the requirements of Industry 4.0. These are segmented and holistic approach and choice for their application, and also the coming change in the pyramid of organization and automation of these processes. Discussed are other approaches to the reorganization of these processes.
