• TECHNICAL STATE IDENTIFYING OF A ROLLER BEARING WITH USING OF VIBRODIAGNOSTICS

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 10 (2016), Issue 6, pg(s) 3-6

The paper addresses the issue of identifying a technical state of rotating parts with the use of vibrodiagnostics. This method has been developing rapidly for recent years and is assumed to be used for predicting failure occurrence. In this paper we focus on monitoring a technical state of a medium truck bearing box where we simulate different field conditions and their dependence on the RMS – root mean square. A measuring device DEWE 50/8 including the DEWEsoft software product of the Dewetron company have been used for the actual measurement. The aim of the work is to calculate the values of root mean square acceleration up to the moment a failure occurs. In the next step we will put the values into a graph and try to determine a gRMS limiting value. In the future this enables us to change the bearing before a failure occurs otherwise it would increase the related cost.

  • SUGGESTION OF SPARE PARTS INVENTORY THEORY MODEL IN ARMY

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 9 (2015), Issue 7, pg(s) 13-16

The article introduces a model which might be used for supplying spare parts of ground forces technical equipment to the Army of the Czech Republic. When designing inventory management, an Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model is applied. It is a classical model used to determine stock order quantity. When setting the model, stock classification based on the ABC method and the EW matrix is made. Following the stock classification, for the Army of the Czech Republic we would suggest determining a signal stock level which is the same as for the Q-model of a stock management system. In this model used to optimize the stock we apply a dynamic model with absolutely determined stock movement, a dynamic multiproduct model where purchase cost is constant, and a dynamic model completed by a temporary unsatisfied demand. The important aspects which should be taken into consideration when setting an inventory model are stock purchase cost, storage costs, stock holding cost, or the cost which arise due to a short supply.

  • PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE OF MOTOR VEHICLES

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 8 (2014), Issue 4, pg(s) 26-31

In this article the author describes particular maintenance systems used in the past, some of which are used also at present. The basic maintenance systems include maintenance after use, preventive maintenance with predetermined intervals, and conditioned-based preventive maintenance – predictive maintenance. The current trend in the field of vehicle maintenance tend to continous monitoring of their actual status. By the help of a vehicle monitoring in use, it is possible based on current operating parameters to determinate the technical condition of the vehicle parts. Ideally to prevent the failure or damage of groups of vehicle. Tracking of vehicles in use can be effected through the telemetry. Telemetry is a technology that allows remote measurement and reporting of information.
