Voice search analysis in search engine optimization

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 8 (2023), Issue 2, pg(s) 36-38

With the progress of the new millennium and the rapid digitization of society, the methods of obtaining information from the Internet are evolving daily. Providing the ability to search using voice commands brings a whole new perspective to search engine optimization. This raises the question of whether traditional optimization methods are applicable to this type of advanced technology and what are the beneficial effects it provides to users?

Integrated CRM system for Bulgarian agricultural sector

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 7 (2022), Issue 2, pg(s) 76-78

Agriculture is a sector in Bulgaria that contributes significantly the GDP. In the past 20 years steady trends for increasing the arable land, while the number of agricultural holdings decreases. The enlargement of the size of the agricultural holdings is strongly associated with the need for implementation of the advances of information and communication technologies, Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence. The present paper presents the development of an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for agricultural applications. The developed CRM system implements the following functions: customer data management, management of contracts for clients, management of agricultural land, management of processing costs, production revenue management. For the development of the presented integrated CRM system, the needs of the agricultural producers and the work with their clients have been studied in detail.

Multicriterial optimization strategies for electron beam grafting of corn starch

    Mathematical Modeling, Vol. 5 (2021), Issue 4, pg(s) 133-135

Grafting is the most effective way of modifying and regulating the properties of natural polysaccharides for the production of highly efficient graft copolymers, which have applications as flocculating agents for the treatment of different wastewaters. An experimental investigation connected with the modification of starch by grafting acrylamide with the application of electron beam irradiat ion is performed. In this paper the implementation of different multi-criteria optimization strategies, solving the problem with the choice between several compromise Pareto-optimal solutions are presented and compared for the process of electron beam grafting of corn starch. The compromise Pareto-optimal solutions are obtained by implementation of genetic algorithm and a set of requirements for the desired reference direction (minimum or maximum) and the constraints of the investigated quality characteristics and their variances under production conditions, which ensure the fulfilment of several goals – economic efficiency, assurance of low toxicity and high copolymer efficiency in flocculation process.

Sequential development of integrated remote-control Smart Home/Office systems

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 6 (2021), Issue 6, pg(s) 208-210

An integrated smart home system for monitoring and management of the elements of the working environment or at home in Home Assistant platform and is integrated with a voice assistant (Google Assistant) has been developed. It allows monitoring and control of various parameters of the environment, determination of geolocation, tracking the state of the connected devices, provides ascertainment of conditions or constraints during the implementation of logical algorithms or actions, etc. The developed integrated system solves the problem of using various interface applications, communication protocols and standards by integration of all its elements in one Application Programming Interface (API) and simultaneously expanding its scope through integration with a voice assistant (Google Assistant). The development of a dataset of interoperable rules integrated in the Smart Home/Office system should be done function by function. This paper is directed toward the sequential development of integrated remote-control Smart Home/Office systems by adding additional functionality to the already developed integrated system.

Development of remote-control smart home system

    Science. Business. Society., Vol. 5 (2020), Issue 3, pg(s) 112-115

The Smart Homes come rapidly into our everyday lives bringing comfort, security, help and many other benefits. The development of Information and Communication Technology and the advances in the applications based on Internet of Things emerged the appearing of more and more Smart Home solutions. The Smart Home System should implement default or custom integrated functions and intelligent self-adaptive methodology, based on the analysis of the habits, requirements and preferences of its inhabitants.
In this paper the authors consider the development of Android and Wi-Fi based remote control Smart Home System, which integrates the analysis of the survey of the everyday habits of the people. An analysis of habits of 64 surveyed people was made. The results can be taken into account during the process of defining the default integrated functions at the stage of designing a Smart Home. The presence, absence or approaching certain location by the people are included as elements of the Smart Home System.
