    In their way of operation, electric motors are in themselves electromechanical systems, which to the greatest extent allow realizing the concept of building a mechatronic system. This paper presents a microprocessor-based bench for measuring the current and angular velocity of a brushed DC motor as a function of armature voltage at no-load. The report shows the use of the bench to calculate the parameters of the DC motor and to evaluate its condition. An analysis is made of the condition of the engine and the modes in which it is most efficient.

    In order to determine the total spatial and temporal scale of the propagation of anthropogenic sources of noise, it is necess ary to identify them, which can be achieved by comparing underwater and sea surface observation data. For this purpose, it is necessary to determine the direction to the noise object in a function of time. In the development of a passive hydro-acoustic system positioned on the seabed for the detection, classification and determination of the direction to an underwater object, an adaptive processor sh all be designed, examined and experimented to dynamically determine the weighting factors of a two-element antenna grille according to the criteria of the minimum of the average square error and the maximum of the signal noise ratio

    To enforce the Republic of Bulgaria’s “Maritime Spaces, Inland Waterways and Ports Act” and EC Decision 2010/477/EU is a need for an underwater monitoring system in the national maritime spaces. As an element of such a system, a prototype of a bottompositioned modular system has been developed at IMS-BAS, designed for reading and recording and transmission of hydro physical, hydro chemical, biological and ecological data for the marine environment, sounds from biological sources and anthropogenic noises, registration and classification of a sound anomaly, a fragment of it is overwritten wirelessly in an autonomous radio beacon, which quickly floats and transmits the information to a base station on a radio channel, and then acts as a radio marker. One of the radio buoys is connected to the central airtight body by a rope wound on a spool. Its purpose is in case of technical problems or pre-programmed to float and signal on a radio channel. After lifting the station to the surface, the recorded information is taken off and maintained.
