The article is devoted to the study of performance indicators of diesel fuel with the addition of rapeseed oil ether. To do this, the study used diesel fuel of Euro 5 grade “L” and the following dietary supplements: rapeseed oil methyl ester and rapeseed oil isopropyl ester. In the resulting biofuels the corresponding physical and chemical properties were determined. Based on the results of research, it was found that the complex of quality indicators of diesel fuel of petroleum origin and samples of rapeseed oil esters slightly differs from the indicators of petroleum diesel fuel, and, also, number of indicators of environmental properties are better than those of fuel of petroleum origin.

The article presents the result of the research on the possibility of using in the watering process the effect of swallowing and cracking of chernozem soils depending on their humidity. Watering installations where the rain intensity is variable or constant but higher than Kf = const lead to an essential reduction of working time in position, since in this case the soil soaking process also includes the infiltration phase.
Water losses would be less because in this case the soil soaking process also includes the infiltration phase in which, depending on its initial humidity, the soil can incorporate essential water volumes. Consequently, it is possible to improve the ecological and economic efficiency of the irrigation technique by adapting the intensity of the rain to the dynamics of the process of water movement in the soil during the watering process

The use of modern methods of conservative farming requires an ever more in-depth study of the design of agricultural machinery, ensuring the high-quality execution of technological operations. The development of seeders for No-till, Mini-till and Strip-till technologies assumes theoretical and experimental studies of the working bodies of the designed seeder. At the same time it is necessary to prepare the feasibility study of its use, which in the conditions of market economy and various forms of land management is very important. This article is devoted to the substantiation of the tractive resistance of the seed drill’s seeding section.

The purpose of this publication is to analyse the impact of different composition of motor biofuel mixtures on their performance properties. The use of alcohols as an additive to gasoline has a number of advantages; in particular, it reduces the amount of carbon monoxide and nitrogen emissions, as well as emissions of carcinogenic compounds. The use of biofuels will improve environmental and energy security. However, there are a number of disadvantages of such fuels, so the search for solutions to problematic issues when using biofuels with the addition of ethyl alcohol is relevant.
