A research about influence of wire electrode vibration’s amplitude upon process of arc-cycle conduction and forming of over- laid coating is done in a shield of argon. Duty cycle frequency, times of short circuit and arc burning as well as roughness of the coating are used as quality criteria. It is established that wire electrode vibration’s amplitude cause a significant influence as maximal value of arc cycles and lowest roughness of the coating are obtained at rate of 2 mm.

The article presenting a results about dynamics of moment and coefficient of friction change is established by experimental research of applied layers upon steel parts through vibrating gas metal arc overlaying process with increased wire electrode vibrating frequency. It was established that increasing of the vibrating frequency at rate of 150 Hz leading to significantly shorter time for interaction of both surfaces to obtain a process of established wear.

Maintenance of agricultural equipment is carried out by agricultural equipment dealer in Bulgaria. Their business interests forbid them to implement strategies that decrease maintenance costs, such as proactive maintenance or condition based maintenance. For this reason farmers incur unnecessary financial losses. This article shows the necessity and effectiveness of implementing early diagnosis in agricultural equipment maintenance.

The influence of wire electrode vibration’s amplitude upon parameters of vibrating gas metal arc overlaying process in carbon dioxide shield. As main criteria for evaluation are chosen a voltage during periods of short-circuit and beginning of arc burning; welding current during period of short-circuit and its value at the end of arc burning. A significant influence of vibration’s amplitude upon parameters of the process was established as optimal values are shown at rate of 0,5 mm.

The dynamics of wear index as well as wear resistance changing is established within experimental research of deposited lay- ers upon steel and iron parts. The summary wear index at the end of experimental research of iron parts is about 4 times bigger than the wear index established within steel parts experimental research. The relative wear resistance of deposited layers upon steel parts through vibrating gas metal arc overlaying process is about 10 times higher than layers deposited on iron parts within the same working conditions.

The traditional approach in many agricultural facilities has been to keep machines running to increase production revenues, often with consequences to assets – consequences that result in higher maintenance costs. Autonomous maintenance is a reliability initiative that provides alternative to this dilemma.

The dynamics of moment and coefficient of friction change is established by experimental research of applied layers upon iron and steel parts through vibrating gas metal arc overlaying. It was established that such layers has a insignificant change of the moment of interaction within the period between 4-th and 14-th hour with rate of 5,5 to 6,5 Ncm which is a sign about transition into a period of estab- lished wear regime within shorter time.

A method for testing the abrasion resistance of welded coatings in abrasive environment is developed. A major criterion of re- pair coating’s durability evaluation is determined. CT-1 stand for friction and wear resistance in abrasive free environment modeling the working conditions of the details of running gear and transmission chain wheel agricultural machinery has been designed and built up.

The results for submerged arc overlaying coatings of parts of agricultural, transportation, construction and forest machinery are achieved. The highest wear resistance was achieved through DUR 600 solid wire electrode, FBTT flux and intermediate alloy of Lin- colnweld 860 flux. The wear of the coatings is very slightly increased for long period of time that provides conditions for long-term predic- tions about their general condition and remaining resource.
