Impact of e-commerce on the logistics sector

The introduction of digital technologies into modern life has turned e-commerce into a global industry, having a significant impact on the logistics sector and supply chain management. The Covid-19 pandemic has contributed to the rapid growth of online commerce, creating additional challenges for companies in the logistics sector. The purpose of this report is to examine the trend in the development of e-commerce and its relationship with the logistics sector. The results of a study related to the differences in costs in electronic and traditional commerce are presented.
