Abstract

This article has been viewed assess sustainability in the international agenda, which is a driving force for the industry’s international competitiveness. Sustainability comprises three pillars: environment, society and economy. For the environmental dimension of sustainable development, life cycle assessment (LCA) has been practiced for some time and standardized method. The other two pillars are further explored and defined. This article focuses on the level of product – rebuilt generator in discrete manufacturing.
