    Personal noise exposure level and the impact on the employee’s performance in the automotive industry

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 8 (2023), Issue 5, pg(s) 186-189

    In today’s demanding market environment the companies need to deliver high quality product to their customers and in parallel to maintain an ergonomic workplace for their employees to increase the productivity. The purpose of this paper is determination of the personal noise exposure level caused by the machines and equipment installed in all organization units in an auto part production plant. The noise level was measured and analysed with noise measurements equipment – dosimeters and software tool at 25 measurement points across the plant. In addition, the strength between the variables, noise levels and concentration, is presented with correlation coefficient.

    Surface treatment – effect on spring parts in the automotive industry

    Trans Motauto World, Vol. 8 (2023), Issue 1, pg(s) 3-4

    In modern automotive engineering, a particular car is composed of various parts that are manufactured using a wide variety of materials and technologies and that meet the high demands of modern customers and environmental norms. In the production process of a specific article for assembling cars, a problem with springs of a certain type is found. During the planned production, assembled products began to show the same defect. The mounted springs fall spontaneously. An analysis of the possible causes was made. A visual examination was made which showed a lack of plasticity, a change in geometry and raised doubts about the thermal surface treatment. Based on the results of the performed measurements and analysis, the possible causes of the problems during production were recognized. Several conditions could have caused this:
    – Two different tools were available at the manufacturer, respectively two different technologies for the production of the springs;
    – The manufacturer used two different sub-suppliers for surface treatment;
    – insufficient corrosion protection;
    The results of the measurements show that despite the geometric deviations of the dimensions, the springs lose their function due to lack or improper surface treatment.

    Fixed joints applied in car construction

    Trans Motauto World, Vol. 6 (2021), Issue 4, pg(s) 127-130

    The paper deals with the problem of joints of car parts of the car construction. The construction of the car must meet the emission standards, in order to meet them it is necessary to reduce the weight of the car while maintaining strength and durability. Therefore, different materials are used in the design of car construction, such as different types of steels, aluminum alloys, composites and plastics. This increases the demands on the car construction and on the type of sheet metal joining technology used. The paper deals mainly with glued and welded joints in the design of car construction. The suitability of individual types of joints is solved using the finite element method.

    MARKETING AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY GLOBALLY

    Trans Motauto World, Vol. 2 (2017), Issue 3, pg(s) 112-116

    Many social, economical and technological trends begin to work together in order to transform the mobility and to create new urban models for the next decades. The trends coming from the technology development will revolutionize the way the automoyive industry responds to the changing consumer behavior. Bulding new partnerships will lead to trabsformational change. The connectivity and the automation will fundamentally change the automotive industry. The expected operational ecosystems include e-hailing mobile applications for shared electric vehicle, infotainment services and personalization inside the autonomous vehicles, connectivity to the infrastructure and provision of various services due to the Internet of Things, which will grant safe, sustainable and reliable transit.

    MARKETING INNOVATIONS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY GLOBALLY

    Innovations, Vol. 5 (2017), Issue 2, pg(s) 71-75

    In the center of the development of the new cars marketing tendencies in the next decades lay the innovations in few industries which interact between. This leads to the appearance of the autonomous vehicles, connected vehicles – between themselves, with the infrastructure and with the other personal smart belonging, incl. home; the strategic approach towards smart vehicles, shared vehicles, electric vehicles and finding ways this technology to become mainstream. These are now priority for the largest car manufacturers. The technology, Internet of Things, the environment and the change in the consumer behavior will create new types of products – smarter, more intelligent, more connected and integrated into connected ecosystems between the industries and businesses.
