This paper explores the application of the PC-Crash software package in the field of traffic accident reconstruction, with a particular focus on the analysis of digital tachograph records. Digital tachographs are modern tools used to automatically record key driving parameters, including speed, driver working hours, and distance traveled. They play a significant role in both traffic monitoring and the reconstruction of traffic accidents. PC-Crash, on the other hand, is one of the leading software solutions for simulating and analyzing traffic accidents, enabling precise reconstruction of events based on input parameters. This paper examines the use of PC-Crash software in the processing and interpretation of digital tachograph data, with the aim of enhancing the accuracy of analyzes and the objectivity of traffic incident reconstructions. The results demonstrate that the combined use of digital tachograph data and PC-Crash software significantly improves the reliability of reconstructions, which is of great importance to the judiciary, law enforcement, and traffic safety professionals.

The article presents an intelligent energy guardian for a polygeneration device. The proposed solution aims to optimize energy usage and minimize wastage by incorporating smart control algorithms that continuously monitor and adjust the energy flow between different subsystems of the device. The energy guardian utilizes machine learning techniques to learn the device’s energy usage patterns and adapt to changing conditions, such as varying energy demands and supply constraints. The article outlines the design and implementation of the energy guardian, and presents experimental results that demonstrate its effectiveness in improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs. Overall, the intelligent energy guardian offers a promising solution for enhancing the performance of polygeneration devices and promoting sustainable energy use.

Paper focuses on the use of renewable energy sources and in particular the use of water energy. A hydro power plant is a complex of facilities and equipment for converting the energy of the water flow into electrical energy. The advantages of hydro power plants are obvious – a supply of energy constantly renewed by nature itself, simplicity of operation, absence of environmental pollution. Taking into account the growing role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the economic development, both of an individual country and on a global scale, as well as the widespread orientation towards the use of renewable energy sources in the production of electricity, the main goal of the current development is the analysis of the operation of the electrical part of a specific hydro power plant with small power. Statistical processing of operational data on the change of certain variables was carried out. In conclusion, it is summarized that the hydro power plant under consideration has good operational indicators.

The article suggests the consideration of data analysis ideology in the context of knowledge creation process and the technological patterns of social development. The problems of singularity (human misunderstanding of data processing results) associated with increase in data variety, volume and further intellectualization of the corresponding technologies for their processing are proposed to be solved by creating new formalization techniques that allow retransmission.

Complex production systems are increasingly using Industrial Ethernet for connecting MES, PLCs, Touch Control, and even sensors and actors within the industrial control network. While today’s production is still process driven under MES control, digitalization requires a data driven approach with cyber physical systems acting autonomously in a connected production world. Moving away from a centralized control architecture has the advantage of more flexibility but eliminates the implicit knowledge on global parameters such as the current condition or state of the overall machinery. This paper describes a methodology to retrieve these global parameters independently from any control system and fully transparent to the control network. A data sensor device is introduced that can listen to any Ethernet data traffic. Together with a specialized packet rules engine it is used to extract and combine information out of a raw Ethernet data stream to build up a virtual sensor device. A production state identification sensor is described as an example application of the virtual data sensor device.
