Reverse engineering in automotive design component

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 7 (2022), Issue 2, pg(s) 62-65

The paper presents the possibilities of using reverse engineering in the digitization of automotive components and their modification. A CAD model of the part was created based on the scanned point clouds. Subsequently, this model was compared with the original cloud points. The point clouds were scanned by a laser 3D scanner in PolyWorks software. The reference 3D model was created from a point cloud in the CATIA program. The comparison of the scanned point cloud and the reference model is performed in PolyWorks. The Check IMAlign project module is used for this. This module allows you to compare the scanned point cloud, it is merged from several scanned lines into one whole point cloud, which are created by a CAD model. The preparation of the 3D scanning arm FARO PLATINUM ARM and the process of scanning the prototype of the front fender of the car are described.

ASPECTS OF SAFETY AND SECURITY IN INDUSTRY 4.0

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 4 (2019), Issue 6, pg(s) 319-321

Industry 4.0 includes the integration of Safety and Security. Their interconnection (influencing) is assumed. Application of control systems within Safety and Security changes the static principle to dynamic, assumes identification of all production and distribution processes, data mobility as a part of BIG DATA technology and human factor activity while ensuring the functionality of relevant applications. Industry Strategy 4.0 requires a proactive approach in risk analysis, based on the implementation of Safety and Security principles in the development and design phase of machines and complex technologies in the context of the use of CPS principles. It is important that rapid responses to the system’s problems are monitored effectively, with simultaneous exchange of information at individual levels in the production process.

Innovative approaches to determination of economic digitization in the modern stage of enterprise development

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 4 (2019), Issue 5, pg(s) 256-257

The article deals with the concept of digitization of the economy. There is the comparative interpretation of it in different sources by different authors. The author’s approach to the content of the definition of the digitization of the economy is given. The innovative approaches to the definition of the digitization of the economy at the present stage of enterprise development are presented. The conclusion is made on the importance of developing digital technologies on the basis of innovative development.

  • Risk management in context of Industry 4.0

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 3 (2018), Issue 6, pg(s) 340-342

Prevention 4.0 as part of the enterprise’s safety culture is developing HSE management system to address new challenges in prevention. Industry 4.0 anticipates new linkages between technology, man, and management systems to apply the most efficient IT systems to ensure the flexibility of the production process so that its output is a product that takes into consideration customer requirements. These changes include the existence of new types of risk due to the change of the position of man from the classical production centers to the area of superstructure activities, programmer, setter, maintainer, security technician for the digitization of production processes. Risk identification is based on defining the hazards and threats of a complex manufacturing system in the context of Safety and Security – Sa&Se, their formulation so that characteristic parameters can be efficiently digitized within the manufacturing process.
