Eco innovations – the foundation of sustainable regional bio-sector

    Mankind faces a number of challenges in the 21st century. Many of them are related to the achievement of the goals and ideas set in the concept of sustainable development of modern UN society. The bio-sector, which is developing within the borders of the Bulgarian economy, has undergone rapid development in the last few years. Many factors have influenced this process, the most sign ificant of which are: increased demand for organic products in international markets, high levels of public support for this type of production and the availability of favorable climatic conditions for their development. Innovation is the main tool for achieving competitiveness and economic growth at all levels – enterprise, industry, region or country. They are the fundamental means of improving people’s quality of life. The purpose of this report is to present the results of a survey conducted among bio-enterprises in the regions of Bulgaria and to show that the green innovation in the bio-sectors is the foundation for regional economic, social and environmental prosperity. The results of the study summarize the main directions for achieving regionally balanced sustainable development.


    Research and justification of the possibilities, relevance and correctness of the monitoring and correction of the strategy, diagnosis of the prospects of its further use on industrial enterprises

    It is established that the main activities include: exercising control over the rational use of resources; reducing the cost of using and maintaining outdated equipment; increasing of production capacity; upgrading of equipment; improvement of production technology; production of unique products and improvement of their quality; diversification; automation of the production process by eliminating manual labor; reduction of pollutant emissions, search for new sources of raw materials; rational use of working capital and fixed assets. It is noted that marketing directions in the process of monitoring and adjusting the strategy, diagnostics and finding prospects for its further use include a set of actions concerning: exploring new markets for products; use of discount system for goods and services; application of modern pricing methods; product updates; production of new products according to existing orders; new methods of product promotion; improving customer service. The financial directions in the process of monitoring and adjusting the strategy, diagnostics and finding prospects for its further use are determined, they are aimed at providing the process of development and implementation of the IA strategy with sufficient financial resources, correlation of the planned effect with the achieved, estimation of the amount of expenses for carrying out research works, development technologies, their introduction into production, production of new products, its supply, search for consumers. The justified use of financial directions in the process of monitoring and adjusting the strategy, diagnostics and finding prospects for its further use allows to create some methods of protection from risks impact, to improve financial activity of the enterprise, to rise the effectiveness of IA organization, to increase sales volumes.. The factors of influence on the development of innovation strategy and the development of innovation activity of industrial enterprises are suggested.


    Modern approaches to the formation of the concept of “Management of innovative activity strategy”

    The essence of the concept “management of the strategy of innovation activity” is explored. The groups of factors of the external and internal environment that influence the management of the strategy of innovative activity of industrial enterprises are distinguished. The necessity of using methods and tools that will reduce or neutralize the factors of the external and internal environment and increase the effectiveness of the strategy of innovative activity of industrial enterprises is substantiated. The author’s definition of the theoretical essence of “management of the strategy of innovation activity” is proposed.

    In this article the author grouped the main types of science-intensive products in the following types: precision alloys – soft magnetic with special physical properties, special electrotechnical alloys, deformable magnetic-hard materials, alloys with a specified temperature coefficient of linear expansion, alloys with specified elastic properties, alloys with high electrical resistance; special corrosionresistant steels and alloys, special heat-resistant and high-temperature alloys by different characteristics.

    Contemporary industrial development of industrial products defines a new attitude towards their innovative obsolescence, which is of major importance to physical obsolescence. The purpose of this article is to clarify the essence and establish the impact of innovation obsolescence on the socio-economic and social outcomes of this activity. Assessing the impact of this activity on the scale and timing of manufactured industrial products is of the utmost importance for the timely removal of the negative effects of the innovation impact. It arises under the impact of new innovative solutions with more advanced, more productive and better techno-economic indicators than those introduced before.
