    Electrostatic precipitators are designed for highly efficient cleaning of process gases and aspiration air from solid or liquid particles released during technological processes in various industries. To improve the design of the plate electrostatic precipitator and eliminate its lack of insufficient intensity of shaking of the electrostatic precipitator plates, a design of the system for cleaning electrodes of the electrostatic precipitator based on the prototype was chosen, which provides multilevel shaking (top, bottom, side of the plates) in the process of continuous operation of the plate electrostatic precipitator and increases the intensity of shaking dust from the plates of the electrostatic precipitator.

    There is a method examined for studying propagation of waves in a double-periodic plate, based on the application of the boundary element method. By means of this method “transparency windows” were found for a wave that propagates in a direction perpendicular to the diagonal of the elementary period of the system

    It was analyzed the methods of constructions the matter with maximal of packing coefficient when the objects consist of the particles with forms either spheres or rods or plates. It was calculated the relations the partial size for relating of maximal packing coefficient. As examples of objects with coefficient of packing theirs particles we look on abrasive materials and products of the powder metallurgy and solid fuel etc.

    The article substantiates the ways of tuning parametric oscillations providing for increasing durability of steel and friction plates of vehicle transmissions. The evaluation of dynamic stability is conducted on the basis of the analysis of Mathieu equation and Ince-Strutt diagram. It is offered to restrict the parameter of rigidity modulation depth by filtering low-frequency disturbances formed in the nonlinear system by the power unit (internal combustion engine (ICE) or electric motor (EM)), by hydrodynamic processes in the hydraulic transformer (torque converter or hydraulic coupling) and in the system of its oil supply. The performance evaluation of the developed actions on plate’s durability is conducted.
