  • THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF SECURITY

Correlations between organized crime and terrorismi

    Security & Future, Vol. 4 (2020), Issue 3, pg(s) 83-85

The activities of terrorist organizations in the international arena provide benefits of access to global financial flows, various criminal markets, offshore financial centers and banks that guarantee fast large cashless transactions, with guarantees of business and banking secrets. This often requires connecting with criminal organizations that specialize in financial and cybercrime, which is why terrorists are often associated with organized crime. The link between organized crime and terrorism is usually functional, when organized crime is put into function (financing and arming) of terrorism. At the same time, the connection can be instrumental, when terrorist groups are involved in organized crime, and vice versa – when criminal groups undertake terrorist activities. Precisely, the focus of the work will be on determining these correlations and their security implications, which we must take into account when creating effective strategies for combating organized crime and terrorism.

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 13 (2019), Issue 9, pg(s) 397-399

The types of entrepreneurial activity and form of enterprises are investigational. Described business system and her elements. Sequence of executions and in accordance with principles which provide the acceptance of effective administrative decisions aimed at realization of investment strategy of industrial enterprises is offered. Tasks which must be the strategies of industrial enterprise taken into account in the process of choice are certain. The stages of life cycle of industrial enterprises are set from the period of “birth” to the period of “expansion”. Expediency of different forms of strategy of diversification of investment activity of industrial enterprises is reasonable.

  • TECHNOLOGIES

Improving the classification of strategy of innovative activity of the enterprise

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 13 (2019), Issue 7, pg(s) 318-320

The classifications of innovation strategy of industrial enterprises are investigated: their advantages and disadvantages are determined. Classifications of innovation strategy of industrial enterprises are improved. Classification features, types of strategies of innovation activity of industrial enterprises are characterized. The expediency of using a certain innovation strategy of industrial enterprises is substantiated.

  • THEORETICAL PROBLEMS IN INNOVATIONS

Modern approaches to the formation of the concept of “Management of innovative activity strategy”

    Innovations, Vol. 7 (2019), Issue 4, pg(s) 121-123

The essence of the concept “management of the strategy of innovation activity” is explored. The groups of factors of the external and internal environment that influence the management of the strategy of innovative activity of industrial enterprises are distinguished. The necessity of using methods and tools that will reduce or neutralize the factors of the external and internal environment and increase the effectiveness of the strategy of innovative activity of industrial enterprises is substantiated. The author’s definition of the theoretical essence of “management of the strategy of innovation activity” is proposed.

  • Features of the hybrid vehicles work mode control strategy

    Trans Motauto World, Vol. 4 (2019), Issue 2, pg(s) 51-54

The transmissions of HEVs or so-called hybrid transmissions (HT) are essentially power split transmissions, which almost always require planetary gears to split or sum up power. An essential prerequisite for reading and studying hybrid transmissions is the knowledge of planetary gear function and calculation. For example, the Toyota hybrid system can only be clarified using the principles of the planetary mechanism. In addition to Toyota’s decision, there are two modes of transmission (BMW, Daimler and GM) and many patent applications with similar ideas.
Technically speaking, these solutions are power split transmissions that turn into a hybrid system by adding an electric motor (EM), an electric generator (EG) and an electric storage battery (SB). These transmissions perform the functions required for vehicles with an internal combustion engine, such as the HEV.
These functions are launching, torque and speed conversion, reverse gear, and rapid gear-shifts in ascending or descending order. In addition, the requirements for HT are realized with the help of electronic control. For parallel HEV, a conventional gearbox plus EM is used. The automatic transmissions used in the mixed HEVs are designed with planetary gearboxes and are also known as automatic HTs. This article discusses the features of planetary gearboxes used in HEVs transmissions.

  • STRATEGY OF THE COMMERCIAL SIGNAGE

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 9 (2015), Issue 5, pg(s) 25-26

Analyzing subject of this report is the trademark as a individualizing element, image mark and intangible asset for any organization. The author of the publication proves that the management of the trademark is a key aspect in the overall management of modern organizations regardless of the fact that currently it is not a focus of managers. The report suggests separation of an independent functional strategy of trademark management, named as “Strategy of commercial signage”. This strategy creates new opportunities and avoid the clichés of strategies like "red ocean".

  • INNOVATION POLICY AND INNOVATION MANAGEMENT

INNOVATION POLICIES OF POLISH INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES BASED ON INNOVATION CUBE MODEL. RESEARCH RESULTS

    Innovations, Vol. 5 (2017), Issue 2, pg(s) 64-70

Many theoretical concepts of studying innovation strategies concentrate on selected aspects and determinants of this phenomenon and dissemble cohesive and wider perspective. In result there is lack of comprehensive researches concerning innovation policies, especially covering long term, repetitive studies based on the same methodology. The main purpose of this article is to assess innovation strategies applied in Polish medium and large industrial enterprises based on three dimensional innovation activity model – innovation cube. Those dimensions are: place of creating, continuity of activity and way of innovation utilization. In result of imposition above criteria these model presents eight different variations of innovation policies. The most common innovation policy utilized in Polish industrial enterprises is individual innovator. This means that innovations were created in continuous manner, based on own resources and for own use. The test sample covered years 2007-2009 and 2012-2014. Surveys were conducted on group of medium and large Polish enterprises belonging to low-, medium- and high-tech industries. Each phase of research was based on the same methodology. From first stage 80 responses were obtained and from the second one 92.
