    Christian monuments as a resource in cultural heritage and tourism education. Results from a research project

    The paper aims to present the results of field research conducted in different regions and municipalities in Bulgaria and related to the formation of local policies supporting the preservation and promotion of Orthodox Christian monuments. The main emphasis in the exposition is placed on examples of good practices for socialization of the Christian heritage with the active participation of the loca l population, as well as good practices from cross-border projects. The methods and approaches for integration of the results achieved by the field research in the education in cultural heritage and tourism have been presented. The relevance of the topic is determined by the insufficient knowledge of the local traditions and good practices for preservation, construction and promotion of the Christian monuments in Bulgaria, as part of the national cultural heritage. Methodology: A descriptive qualitative method was used in this research. We have also used combined methods for analysis and synthesis. The paper is part of the activities of the research project “Creating a model for Saveguarding, Socialization and Promotion of Christian Monuments in Bulgaria”- ДН 15/4 of 11.12.2017, with the financial support of the Bulgarian Science Fund with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.

    A training discipline “Basics if the Artificial Intelligence”, taught in UCTM, Sofia is presented. The discipline is developed according to the requirements of ACM as well the methodises presented by Russel and Norvig in their seminal book “Artificial Intelligence: A modern approach, 3 ed.”. As a tool for illustration of the AI algorithms to be studied, each student is equipped with a typical cyberphysical system – individual training stand, which includes a simplified robot (addressed here as passive agent) constructed of sensors and actuators only) controlled by an AI algorithm, subject to development by the students and housed on a PC. An outline of the lections is
    included.

    New educational standards involve significant changes in the structure, content, aim and tasks of education. The article deals with the results of investigation of peculiarities of the method of projects usage in the theory of teaching a future agricultural engineer in higher education institutions. The method of projects in educational technologies provides solving an agricultural problem and it is directed into achieving a specific result that can be publicly presented and transferred to a customer. The main achievement is a creative research project that demands integrated knowledge, investigation for getting significant results of theoretical and cognitive character and practical character. Such project should be vital according to the chosen topic, problems and tasks, methods of investigation, sources of information, hypothesis and ways of solving the given problem.

    Training and examination of working professions employees (further – workers) of the organisations, that are controled by Federal department of ecological, technological and nuclear supervision in Russian Federation (further – Rostechnadzor) of occupational Safety and Health and in the field of safety – it is one of the key factors in creating conditions for trouble-free operation of hazardous production facilities (further – HPF) and reduce industrial injuries at these facilities. This article provides an overview of the existing system of training and examination of workers on occupational health and safety and industrial safety, revealed its main gaps. The development and implementation of guidance cards safe methods and techniques of work are revealed, as a form of industrial instructions.

    This report examined the means of automated design and analysis of technical documentation in CAD environment. Based on the analysis is to develop a methodology for course work in the discipline technical documentation using CAD systems for students of all engineering disciplines. The introduction of CAD products CAD early in training will enhance student motivation for their use – further in the education process in diploma projects.

    Learning different aspects of the international quality standards turned into an urgent necessity in the students’ training, which gives them a possibility quickly to adapt to the practice during their professional realization as specialists. Generally, the preparation of the students of quality management in our country is well accepted in the different educational institutions and is conformable to their specific features. As a disadvantage it may be shown the fact, that the students’ training is limited only to the knowledge for quality management receiving. It may achieve a wider range, including a preparation for environment standards (ISO 14000), for safety (ISO 18000) and for quality, which basic principles further the management of this combination and, in the long run, for one sustainable development.

    The purpose of the present article is to be worked-out and presented the basic methodological aspects for sustainable development training in the higher education, which will give an opportunity to the students to receive wider knowledge in this field.

    With the help of the basic methodological aspects, has been worked-out a concrete model syllabus for sustainable development training of the students from the higher technical schools in our country.
