Development of remote-control smart home system

    The Smart Homes come rapidly into our everyday lives bringing comfort, security, help and many other benefits. The development of Information and Communication Technology and the advances in the applications based on Internet of Things emerged the appearing of more and more Smart Home solutions. The Smart Home System should implement default or custom integrated functions and intelligent self-adaptive methodology, based on the analysis of the habits, requirements and preferences of its inhabitants.
    In this paper the authors consider the development of Android and Wi-Fi based remote control Smart Home System, which integrates the analysis of the survey of the everyday habits of the people. An analysis of habits of 64 surveyed people was made. The results can be taken into account during the process of defining the default integrated functions at the stage of designing a Smart Home. The presence, absence or approaching certain location by the people are included as elements of the Smart Home System.

    The main subject of this article is description of an actual two realizations of the connection between trucks and centre using GPS and GPRS and WI-FI technologies in Slovak companies. There are described advantages of the freight cars connection using wireless technologies, as advanced trends of wireless technologies using in the road transportation. There are described basic concept of wireless technologies GPS and GPRS and possibilities of using these nets in a road transport for Fleet tracking and realization of the connection between trucks and centre using WI-FI technologies.

    The future of Internet communications is trending at Internet-of-Things (IoT) and furthermore: Internet-of-Everything (IoE) with Wireless networks deployed. But most important in the development of wireless networking is the security issue. Computer and networking security will be the great wall built over systems and networks. In this scientific research paper the weakness of Wi-Fi passwords over protocol WPA2 in a controlled network environment is tested along with WPS protocol. The open source operating system KALI LINUX is used by the means of instrument “aircrack-ng” and “bully”.

    This paper discusses the design and the implementation of the wireless access network in residential complex with minimum access points. It has been investigated the power of transmitted signal and signal noise ration of the designed network. The experimental results show that the designed network has very good quality performance.
