В работе приводится актуальность альтернативных источников энергии, место среди них ветроэнергетики. Дано краткое описание существующих ветродвигателей и конструктивные особенности волновых ветродвигателей. Представлены примеры использования ветродвигателей такого типа для прямого привода рабочих органов сельскохозяйственных машин, в том числе в линейных генераторах, в компрессорах тепловых насосов, в вентиляционных установках. Описаны их технологические преимущества.
