The subject of research of this article is the review of passenger transport by all types of traffic on the territory of Montenegro in the past few years. The number of passengers transported by rail was accompanied by a constant increase in transported passen gers from 2013 to 2016. After that, we have a drop in the number of passengers transported by rail in 2017. The number of passengers transported by road in Montenegro is constantly increasing from year to year. There has been a constant increase in the number of passengers transported at Montenegrin airports. As passenger transport is a very important activity of every country, in the last few years the state of Montenegro has been working on improving the transport infrastructure and the process of passenger transport.

This paper deals with passenger railway transport accessibility of the city of Chomutov, Czech Republic. The paper presents a conceptual study of a new transportation hub – the Transferium. Based on the unsuitable accessibility of the existing railway station, the location of a new railway station is proposed. The paper addresses the transport and transit demands of the new railway station in the context of current and future traffic. Furthermore, the urban integration of the new station and the surrounding urban space is proposed, and last but not least, the construction and technical context is presented.

The segment of public passenger transport is a part of the everyday activities of the population. His task is to ensuring for the population commuting to work, at free time activity, shopping etc. The passengers must sometimes during of transport process to change of transport mode. The change is carried in the traffic hub, where the passenger can change the means of transport of the same transport mode or different transport modes. It is important to ensure continuity of public transport in the traffic hub. The current situation in the field of solving the problem has lack, not yet been to developed a complex assessment methodology. In practice this means, that all transfer times between different modes of transport are set from estimations coordinators integrated transport system. The changes of transfer times are performed operatively. In the contribution is set a new methodology of continuity public passenger transport in traffic hub.

The paper describes the urban passenger transport system which is a set of interdependent subsystems: «city», «transport», «passengers». The urban passenger transport performance indicators have been determined for all system participants. The objective functions of an optimization problem of urban passenger transport are given in general terms. The optimization criterion for traffic routing of urban passenger transport has been determined, which takes account of mutual influence of the interests of all system participants has been determined. The passenger traffic flow density on the studying road section, has been suggested as such optimization criterion. The formulation of an optimization problem of urban passenger transport have been defined as well.
