• THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF SECURITY

MATRIX METHOD OF ASSESSING RISK CONFORMITY IN THE CONTEXT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SECURITY

    Security & Future, Vol. 1 (2017), Issue 4, pg(s) 136-137

The research offers a simple matrix model of analysis for ranking risk levels in critical and emergency situations. The leading principles, which should be taken into consideration can be arranged in a group of steps, for example the qualification and grading of imminent danger and the level of endangerment of key assets, determining of the processes which can lead to harm and also the value of the structures susceptible to damage and the damage itself.

  • MATERIALS

STUDY OF RESISTING MOMENT INFLUENCE ON OPERATION OF HIGH-VOLTAGE INDUCTION MOTOR PUMP ELECTRIC DRIVE

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 11 (2017), Issue 1, pg(s) 7-10

Paper deals with dynamic behavior of powerful electric drive for pump unit. The practical application of these electric drives is diverse. In industry they drive a wide range of mechanisms connected to them. Some of them are pumps with varying degrees of security for thermal or nuclear power plants. The nature of the flow of transient processes in the electrical machine often determines the behavior of the entire system, an element of which is the machine. As a result the values of the energy losses components in the induction motor have been obtained according to different values of initial resisting moment. Some of the study results have been presented graphically. An analysis has been made and conclusions from the results obtained have been done.

  • POSSIBILITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT OF SUPPLY LOGISTICS

    Innovations, Vol. 2 (2014), Issue 2, pg(s) 34-36

The supply logistics is one of the important activities in the organization. The paper examines an approach for improvement of the supply logistics. The approach consists of three phases. The first phase includes the necessary preparatory activities as determination of supply logistics processes, development of a goals and indicators system of supply logistics, identification of problems in logistics processes and development of the interactions between supply processes, logistic problems and logistic goals. The second phase involves carrying out a preliminary analysis of the supply based on the collected information and proposing activities for improving logistics performance. The third phase involves further analysis of the results of the application of activities for the improvement of logistics activities based on an as-sessment of the achievement of logistics objectives. Approbation of the approach in an enterprise that manufactures a wide range of products for final consumption is presented and possibilities for improvement of supply logistics are discussed.
