    The ability of a person to move quickly plays an important role in the modern, constantly accelerating world. Despite the good development of the infrastructure of large cities, a significant part of its population uses underground or ground public transport, mixing daily trips on it with walking. That is the only one fact, where the importance of the process of walking in the life of modern man can be noticed. There is a new method for evaluation of therapeutical rehabilitation complex work for human lower limbs motion recovery is introduced. Simple mathematical basis and ethalon criterias for rehabilitation complex prototype efficency control are shown.

    The article discusses a calculation procedure for determining the load and stress conditions in stud joints. There are considered two based types of stud fixing: with a circular rim and with an abutting end. There are given the equations for calculation of tightening torques for both types of studs. It is shown the load distribution in joined parts and by help of experimental research is shown that studs with the circular rim are a bit stronger that the studs with the abutting end.

    The article discusses optimization of barge hull by decreasing of its mass parameters by changing of thickness of the plates. The fish-feeding barges are usually used in calm water and in this case it is possible to consider only static loads applied on the barge hull.

    There are many calculation methods for determining stress and deflections in the thin plates. A lot of them are using uniformly distributed load and constant thickness of the plate. In real conditions, a hydrostatic pressure is applied on the barge hull. In this research, we consider a calculation method of thin plates taking into account variable thickness of the plates and non-uniformly load. In addition, we try to show by experiments and FEM analysis the possibility to use variable thickness of barge hull in building of fish-feeding barges.

    This study opens up new opportunities for developers and end users to realize an excellent facility of electromyography technology interfacing with different mechatronic devices. The article provides a brief review of the various ways for controlling different types of devices by using human-machine interface with help of electromyography (EMG) technology. How to register EMG signals from human muscular activity and evaluate the electrical potentials with the help of hardware and control the artificial limbs.

    The article discusses a calculation procedure for determining the load distribution on the screw threads under general load conditions. Four basic loads schemes are considered and equations for calculation of load distribution are given. Symmetric and asymmetric triangular, round and rectangular thread profiles are used. The geometrical parameters of thread profiles and accuracy of thread manufacturing are taking into account.

    The article discusses control of active prosthesis and orthosis by using of EMG (electromyography) signals. It is designed an active orthosis for human lower limb and analyzed kinematic parameters of healthy and injured knee joints. There are considered different types of electrodes and found more optimal design. Also are analyzed electrodes location on human body to obtain more useful results. Problems of active orthosis controlling are also discussed.
