    As plastic products shrink during cooling, so knowledge of shrinkage factor for different materials is required. The main objective of the study is to examine the influence of mold cooling process on subsequent deformation of finished part. To achieve the goal, simulations were carried out at different temperatures of the cooling agent. Statistical processing was performed and a regression model was derived describing the relationship between temperature, time and deformation during cooling.

    In the industry, the concept of “production quality” means a very important and inseparable role, which has a large share in the final quality of the product. Various factors affect product quality. Above all, state-of-the-art technologies are used in every industry, which helps to adapt quickly and efficiently to changes in market conditions, which has a significant impact on the competitiveness of manufacturers to become market leaders. The manufacturers ‘efforts are made to produce a flawless product that will excessively meet customers’ requirements for the perfect product. An integral part of the production process is the quality control of products at certain stages of production. Measurement requirements are defined by satisfactory accuracy, variability, total cost and speed. An important factor in product inspection is currently the creation of a three-dimensional virtual model of a real product, where you can easily compare the created 3D model with the original CAD model and display dimensional deviations.

    The following paper reviews all the possible cases of coupled two-carrier planetary gears with four external shafts. An emphasis is made on the work of these gears with one degree of freedom, one input and one output shaft and brakes on the other two shafts . When switching over the gears, the speed ratio of the gear is changed, thus allowing the use in two-speed mechanical transmissions of technological lifting and other machines. Some relations are deduced for determining the speed ratios and the efficiency of all structural schemes.
    Recommendations for the selection of the most appropriate structural scheme according to the current necessities can be made. A 3D model of the S13V3 two-speed, two-carrier gearbox was created to demonstrate the process of determining the viability of a particular gearbox layout.

    Belt conveyors play a significant role in the transport of bulk materials due to a number of advantages such as: high capacity, economy, safety and reliability. The belt conveyor for bulk materials was observed in this paper. In order to drive the belt conveyor, the power of the driving electric motor must overcome all the resistances that occur during the transport of materials. The paper presents one of the possible approaches to the method of calculation and selection of belt conveyor parameters. The conveyor travel path was adopted, all resistances to the motion of the belt and materials were defined and the calculation of the total resistance to motion on characteristic transport sections was performed. The influence of conveyor loading and discharge devices, drive mechanism, way of moving the belt over the rollers were taken into account. The general calculation algorithm is presented and a graphical representation of the con veyor assemblies is given for the defined transport route.
