On the distribution of the incentive fund at the university

    Mathematical Modeling, Vol. 4 (2020), Issue 1, pg(s) 39-41

The article highlights two approaches to solving the problem of the distribution of the incentive fund, one of which is based on the calculation of the cost of one point; the second one is based on elementary incentive payment in the system with weight indices. The latter approach makes it possible to single out a small number of clusters of successful personalities. Comparison of the considered approaches at the stage of their implementation allows us to draw the conclusion about the different aspirations of teachers in the performance assessment systems. A mathematical solution is proposed for the distribution of the incentive fund in the framework of the second approach. The proposed method allows dividing fund resources in an extremely short period of time.

ARE ACCOUNTING EDUCATORS READY TO EMBRACE THE CHALLENGES OF INDUSTRY 4.0

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 4 (2019), Issue 6, pg(s) 309-312

Industry 4.0 is changing the structure and scope of accountants’ qualification profile by imposing new challenging requirements regarding their skills and competences. The paper is inspired by the increasing digitalisation of businesses and the impact of technology innovations and their augmented application on the accounting higher education. The aim of the research is to outline and discuss the challenges for accounting educators due to the required knowledge and skills from graduates in the Industry 4.0 context. A special attention is given to the need for building strong and effective communication and information links with the business partners and  professional bodies. The benefits for universities of becoming part of clusters are also discussed in more details.

CLUSTERS AS A MODERN MODEL OF DEVELPMENT OS SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN THE TRANSITION COUNTRIES

    Science. Business. Society., Vol. 1 (2016), Issue 1, pg(s) 27-29

This paper deals with the issue of cluster as a modern model of development of small and medium enterprises. Clusters as a model for the development of SMEs in recent years are current as in countries in transition, in contrast to developed countries where the model has long been present. It is understandable that clusters are not sufficiently developed in the transition countries, and the reasons should be sought in inadequate development and transfer of innovative technologies, insufficient skills of employees and the lack of partnerships between businesses, which is a critical factor in the development of clusters. The aim of this study is to determine and present factors of cluster development in the application of the concept of small and medium enterprises as a critical factor in economic growth of transition countries.
