Calculation of thermal diffusion and filtration fluxes at the interface by “traditional” methods requires preliminary determination of the potential values (concentration, moisture content, temperature, pressure) in the four-dimensional space of events. Such methods for solving boundary value problems, which provide “extra” information for technical calculations, are usually very laborous and require the use of numerical methods that are not always convenient in engineering practice. The proposed fieldless calculation method allows one to determine on the boundary of the region the gradients from the transfer potentials and, consequently, energy and material flows in the form of a known functional of the potentials at the interface at their short-term contact directly on the matrix of transfer coefficients of the formalized boundary value problem. This method uses the fractional index differentiation operation (fractional differentiation) and is convenient for solving limiting boundary value problems, i.e. when the characteristic size of the contacting phases in the boundary conditions of boundary value problems tends to infinity or the time of their interaction tends to zero.

Using the methods of systemic, mathematical and numerical analysis, as well as general physicochemical and thermodynamic laws, a complex of theoretical and experimental studies of transfer processes during short-term contact of phases has been carried out. These studies made it possible to fully reveal the regularities of external and internal heat and mass transfer, to find scientifically grounded ways to intensify the processes of vacuum, conductive and combined drying methods. Within the framework of linear nonequilibrium thermodynamics, a mathematical model of filtration-diffusion energy and mass transfer has been developed with a correct estimate of the orders of the terms in the system of differential equations of energy and mass transfer, taking into account the composition of the vapor-air mixture in the capillary-porous body. The limits of applicability of the hypothesis of short-term contact of phases according to the Fourier criterion for the transfer inside and outside the surfaces of the canonical shape (plate, cylinder, sphere) and wedge are estimated from the standpoint of the accuracy of calculating interphase flows. It is shown that in a number of cases the contact is not short-lived due to the curvature and the presence of angles on the contact surface, and not due to the finiteness of the dimensions of the contacting phases.

Main directions and trends of mechanism and machine mechanics developing in Belarus are considered. Results of investigations fulfilled in the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering and V.A. Bely Metal Polymer Research Institute of NASB, Belarusian National Technical and Belarusian-Russian Universities, as well as in Belarusian State Transport University and other Belarusian research centers are presented. Generally, these investigations are forwarded for modernization of drives of various machines and mechanisms, including mobile machines, instrument mechanisms and estimation of their operation characteristics in the frame of “Industry 4.0” conception. The paper is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on gears and powertrains. Parts of the paper contain sources of information and main publications of Belarusian scientists. Thus, the paper as a whole bears informational and bibliographic character

The subject of the study is a motocultivator whose construction is designed for soil cultivation on small-scale private farms. Magnitudes – variables and constants that characterize the statics and dynamics of the motocultivator are identified. The motion equations are derived based on the corresponding body simplifications that move in the vertical-longitudinal plane with two degrees of freedom. The computerized simulation model of the dynamic system was developed using the Vemsim software. The numerical solution has been obtained. After analysis the relevant conclusions are made to improve the sustainability of the motocultivator movement within the required controllability.

Truck Mounted Cranes are used for load lifting and lowering, mainly in construction industry for materials handling. These cranes have complex structure with many parts and mechanisms with bars, linkages, actuators, cables, outriggers, etc. Using modeling and simulations with software we will analyze dynamics and oscillations in crane while lifting the maximal load, and methods of control of these oscillations in order to optimize the work process of truck crane. Dynamic parameters analyzed are: velocity, acceleration, angular velocity, forces and torques that act in main parts of crane, including load swinging. The study will be accomplished with design of block diagrams that represents crane model and motion, and gain results in form of diagrams containing main kinematic and dynamic parameters. Results of the tested system will be used to get conclusions about dynamic behavior of crane, and look for optimal motion control. Analysis will be done using modeling and simulations with software MapleSim, based on truck crane from standard manufacturer.

The article deals with a problem of fatigue load calculations when designing the aircraft wing. Much of fatigue damage is done to the wing by occasional air gusts in turbulent atmosphere. Therefore, the author considers the pattern of continuous atmospheric turbulence that gives an idea of low-altitude gusts. It is at low altitudes that nonstandard flights are performed for which it is wrong to use the statistical data on fatigue damage available from the previously operated airplanes of the same class. The method is offered to determine the equivalent bending moments along the wing span in discrete flight modes and within the entire routine flight. The above method takes into account the profile parameters of routine flights, the dynamic vibrations of the wing and fatigue characteristics of the structural material. To prove the reliability of the method the calculation results have been compared to those of medium-range aircraft testing flights.

The adoption of new technologies in organizations requires a preliminary assessment of risks, pro and cons of the planned change (SWOT analysis and change management). This paper acknowledges the important changes which are occurring in the security of the ICT systems in the organizations as a consequence from the transfer to the cloud services.

Traditionally, IT is positioned behind the firewall of any organization and all servers, virtualized or not, are specific as a service for any business. The authority which supports the security systems could choose the components for security among multiple proved products – firewalls, antivirus systems, servers, updates management, proxy servers, etc. In this way is guaranteed the high level of control upon the security of IT environment and the requirements of different standards for security.
