    In this article, is to develop a physical and mathematical model of the process under complex asymmetric loading in conditions of single-area and two-area deformation zone during plastic processing of medium-thickness strips. The stress state in case of loss of stability during rolling of strips of medium thickness was investigated. The patterns of changes in the stress state of the strip under conditions of reach of the limiting deformation zone, as well as the effects of plastic shaping determined by a decrease in contact stresses under conditions of increasing deformation loading, are revealed. The described method is a visual approach to assessing the stress state of a plastic medium under conditions of complex interaction and asymmetric loading.

    In this paper, a computer simulation of a new technology of thick-sheet rolling, including rolling in rolls with a relief surface followed by rolling on rolls with a smooth barrel to the desired size. The analysis of effective plastic deformation, hydrostatic pressure and temperature field was carried out according to the results of modeling. According to the results of the analysis of effective strain, maximum of processing in the first pass receives the ridge area, but after the second pass observed alignment distribution of this parameter over the cross section. The study of the temperature field showed that the greatest temperature difference in the cross section occurs when rolling in relief rolls, in the future when rolling in smooth rolls due to the increase in the contact surface area, this difference decreases. Analysis of hydrostatic pressure showed the presence of both compressive and tensile stresses in the deformation zone. Such distribution is caused by the presence of a relief surface after 1 pass in the further alignment of the strip profile, which occurs both in the longitudinal and transverse directions.

    Paper presents a preliminary calculation of the calibration rolls for rolling balls with a diameter of 40 mm in a rolling mill JSC "SSGPO", which will be rolled from round workpieces with a diameter of 40 mm. The main elements of ball caliber are considered, their design dimensions are determined. It is established that the height of the flange varies linearly and the width of the spherical area increases during rolling.

    This article analyzes and comparison of the various scientific and methodological approaches to determining the profitability of rolling stock operated by operating companies. We consider four different methods of profitability calculation, carried out their comparison revealed the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Recommendations on the field of application of each method.

    The rolling modes for samples of various thicknesses made of dispersed-hardened powder nichrome alloy have been developed. An alloy sample has been tested at operating temperatures on a stand of the Institute of Strength Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It has been demonstrated that the existing set of properties makes it possible to use the created alloy for aerospace aircraft, which repeatedly operate at extremely high temperatures under aerodynamic heating conditions.
