The development of market economic relations in Georgia requires the application of management principles that take into account the interests of management objects. Consequently, there is an objective need to apply logistics management methods at both micro and macro levels. In this study, a transport-logistics polygon has been investigated. The initial study of the transport-logistics polygon demonstrated that, at the initial stage of analysis, it is necessary to determine the possible combinations of logistics channels constituting the transport-logistics polygon. Since market relations provide a wide variety of transport service forms, the selection of potential local transport systems represents a search process. An algorithmic block diagram for studying the transport services market has been developed, along with recommendations for planning and organizing technological processes of local transport systems in Georgia.

Forecasting the number of tourists by month can help the region’s tourism business prepare for the next season, in particular, in the future, in the correct selection of capacity of hotels, appropriate inventory, number of workers serving the facilities, capital investments, investments, volume and other economic indicators of tourist infrastructure facilities, as well as their implementation dates and raising financial rewards from them. The simplest method of forecasting is the method of direct extrapolation, which is based on the study of the dynamics of change in economic events during a particular time span and the transfer of patterns revealed to the future.

Today, as tourism is recognized as one of the priority sectors of the economy of Georgia and contributes to the socioeconomic development of the country, it is especially important to tudy the existing tourist transport infrastructure and introduce new innovative technologies in its management. As a result of the conducted research, we can conclude that the existing scientific-methodical and practical approaches in the field of tourism and transport cannot be considered effective enough to ensure the development of tourist transport infrastructure. An algorithm was developed for the development of tourist transport infrastructure. The mentioned method can be recommended in the field of tourism, for the development of tourist transport infrastructure.

In many countries in the world, including Georgia, tourism has become one of the leading sectors of the country’s economy and a source of raising public finance. Tourism is recognized as one of the priority areas for the development of the Georgian economy and contributes to the socio-economic development of the country. In particular, it is important to explore the existing tourism transport infrastructure and introduce the innovative technologies in its management. The paper describes some innovative methods whose use will contribute to the development of tourism in Georgia and will significantly increase the attraction of visitors.

Tourism is one of the engines for the regional economic development. The management of the development of the tourism potential of the region should be provided primarily through the development of tourism infrastructure. It is especially important to study the existing tourism transport infrastructure and introduce new innovative technologies in its management. We have studied several tourist facilities in the western region, among other issues, studied the tourism infrastructure and set the ways to increase the tourism potential in the region, which will contribute to the development of tourism in Georgia and the wider region and attract the visitors to the region.
