Simulation of toolpaths and program verification of a CNC lathe machine tool

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 17 (2023), Issue 2, pg(s) 76-79

This paper presents the simulation and verification of programs created for the CNC Hitachi Seiki Seicos LIII lathe machine tool. The main purpose of program simulation and verification is to ensure the quality and accuracy of the cutting process, which can significantly improve production efficiency. In addition to defining the toolpath, simulation can perform linear and circular interpolation according to specific programs based on G – codes. Therefore, all the motions of the moving parts of the real lathe machine tool can be clearly visualized. The use of simulation is a good solution not only to precise the toolpath, but also verify the program and detect any possible collision between cutting tools and mobile components, before loading the program into the lathe machine tool and starting cutting processes.

    Industry 4.0, Vol. 5 (2020), Issue 4, pg(s) 179-180

This paper presents investigations of vibrations of cantilever beams with piezoelectric layers. The paper discusses the contemporary engineering and scientific software systems in order to select the appropriate for the study of mechanical and electrical dynamic behavior of piezoelectric beams. The system COMSOL has been chosen and a study with it has been stated with a static analysis and an eigenvalue analysis. Conclusions are made and a frequency response and time dependent investigations are planned to be done.

DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS TO IDENTIFY THE TRAFFIC PROBLEMS OF THE EXISTING NETWORK AND APPLICATION OF SOFTWARE FOR SOLUTION PROPOSALS, A CASE STUDY

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 11 (2017), Issue 11, pg(s) 553-556

The development of information technologies are taking part in all spheres of human lives. In the traffic engineering shows a big need for application of advanced computing tools.

Softwares for traffic analysis except that allow precise, visual and multifactor analysis of the imagined or proposed traffic solutions, they save time and money as opposed to the site testing. For proper development of the traffic, it is needed detailed and comprehensive planning of the process that will contribute to improving the traffic infrastructure.

One of the crucial steps before using any software for traffic analysis is the collection of data with purpouse to establish the relevant traffic loads for the examined area. Namely, to get the real realistic picture of the traffic situation, it is necesarry recording the traffic to get daily, monthly and annual imbalance on traffic intensity in the investigated location. From the data obtained, the software will use the relevant data that realistically reflect the traffic situation.

In the present work will be shown simulation of the most critical crossroads in the town of Gostivar in the two versions of existing and newly-condition situation using the software tool PTV VISSIM 7. Here will be analysed the most important parameters of the current traffic flow – the time losts in order to indicate the need of change the way of the traffic management of this intersection.

  • SOME PROJECT MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 10 (2016), Issue 2, pg(s) 55-58

There are many specific techniques involved in each of the four major sets of activities called POMA (Planning, Organizing, Monitoring, and Adjusting) phases. Some require extremely deep technical knowledge and others demand great social skills, in this section, we will focus on four commonly needed project management skills: project effort estimation, work breakdown structure, project status tracking with earned value and development measuring & metrics The first two of them are techniques needed in the planning and organizing phases, and the third is needed in the monitoring phase. The fourth is needed for part of planning and for monitoring.

In the report they have explained some techniques for estimating software project management

  • METAMODELS BASED ONTOLOGY DEVELOPMENT TO ACHIEVE STANDARD-COMPLIANT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 10 (2016), Issue 2, pg(s) 39-42

The present paper illustrates the current state of affairs for most organizations involved in the sphere of Information technologies that run or strive to run projects in accordance with applicable ISO standards and CMMI. This paper presents the target state of affairs and its design with used technologies. Reaching the goal state is summarized by serialization of metamodels in XML, mapping/parsing of metamodels (in XML) to OWL2 DL (RL profile) ontologies (written/exchangeable in RDF/XML), storages of these semantic metamodels and models (ontologies/semantic data) in advanced RDBMSs with support of ontologies, R2RML mapping of existing project-related relational data to semantic data and storage of semantic data in semantic stores hosted in existing RDBMSs or migration to such ones, extraction of non-relational project-related data and mapping of these logical models to a physical (relational) model and integration in RDBMSs to centralize all project-related data all governed by the defined vocabularies (ontologies of CMMI for Development and ISO 15504/ 12207). Achieving the goal state enables stakeholders to query and infer from project-related semantic data to manage, analyze and assess projects against underlaying standards. Through commonly-accepted adapters, semantic data, metamodels and models are exposed to external applications.

  • TRANSFORMATION OF FLEXIBLE ART IMAGE USING SOFTWARE APPLICATION

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 9 (2015), Issue 2, pg(s) 13-16

The report examines the 5-way method as a process with clearly defined intellectual relations – idea, point object, sketch, digital image and implementation. In the first experiment the idea is to create a design product based on photography. In the second experiment the idea is suggesting certain feelings and thoughts through artwork. This initial stage is the accomplished design product transformed into an artwork by traditional painting techniques, collage and assemblage.

  • COMPARISON BETWEEN PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 8 (2014), Issue 12, pg(s) 16-19

Software project management encompasses the knowledge, techniques and tools necessary to manage the development of software products. Software project management remains different from project management in other more established fields for a number of reasons. Software is “brain product” only, unconstrained by the laws of physics or by the limits of manufacturing processes. In the report discusses topics that managers need to create a plan for software development using effective estimation of size and to execute the plan with attention to productivity and quality.
In the report they have understand the concept of project management, software project management

  • SOFTWARE APPLICATION FOR POSTAL ITEMS ROUTING AS PART OF POSTAL SYSTEMS` CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE

    Machines. Technologies. Materials., Vol. 8 (2014), Issue 3, pg(s) 9-12

Postal network is the most developed and complex logistical infrastructure in the world. The complexity is determined by the number of participants, which either require or perform postal services and by manipulating with a large number of postal items handling billions of them on daily basis globally. A basic request is that the shipment is transferred safely and on time to the recipient. A mass production, many sorting points in the supply chain and variety and stochasticity of delivery addresses are aggravating circumstances for this goal fulfillment. Accordingly, postal operators need the most advanced technological systems for sorting and processing. This paper proposes the concept of addressing based on the three levels of postal units and the software application created for the routing of postal items in the system of this kind.

  • DETERMINING PRIORITY OF THE CRITERIA FOR STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION OF TECHNICAL SYSTEMS

    Innovations, Vol. 1 (2013), Issue 1, pg(s) 2-9

In the present paper is proposed a classification of the problems and the mathematical models for choosing optimal structural variant while designing a technical system. Algorithms and software models were developed based on known methods for determining the priority of criteria functions. The algorithms and models are implemented in a dialog system for structural optimization. Results are shown from using the software for solving a particular problem.
