Sensitive information is information, in whatever form, including software, the unauthorized disclosure, modification, alteration, destruction, or denial of use of which could compromise nuclear security. Confidentiality is the property that information is not made available or disclosed to unauthorized individuals, entities or processes. Information security not only includes ensuring the confidentiality of information, but also includes ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information (its integrity) and the accessibility or usability of the information on demand (its availability).

The paper focuses on the security of fiber optic infrastructures. The main purpose of the paper is present the vibration detection system for unauthorized access to the fiber optic infrastructure detection. For this purpose, measurement of vibrations using the interferometric method and the measurement based on state of polarization changes evaluation is presented. For the measurement own designed systems were used. Both systems are theoretically described and the principles of use are explained. The measurement was performed at an experimental workplace in a laboratory at the university Based on evaluation measurement both systems are compared in term of sensitivity.

The article attempts to determine the level of use of methods increasing the security of information resources among the SME sector enterprises declaring the use of information security risk management methods. Research was carried out to determine the scope of use of risk management methods in the aspect of actions taken in the area of security of the intangible assets. Also the so-called “human factor” in the information protection process was taken into account. An attempt was made to determine how business entities use risk assessment in any form and how many of them use (and to what extent) the recommendations described in the ISO/IEC 27005 standard.

Study outlines the contours and the magnitude of the asymmetry in the opposition of cyber defense against hackers. Propose a
model that reflects the dynamics of the opposition on both sides and the impact of the listed disproportions. It consist a functional analysis of the differences between organizational and technical approaches applied from both sides. Contains research into why even the most highly protected systems suffer from successful hacking attacks. The analysis sheds light on the magnitude of pressure exerted by malicious actors on cyber security for organizations and the disproportionate response from experts who protect information systems and networks.

Human intelligence, or HUMINT, is the gathering of information through human contact. It is, along with signals intelligence and imagery intelligence (SIGINT and IMINT respectively), one of the three traditional means of intelligence gathering. Analysis of HUMINT training of the Humint teams is a very important part of improvement of their military training. It is a formal, cognitive process used to convert sensory stimuli into meaningful reliable and verifiable information that can be used to solve a problem, answer a question, make a decision, or add to a learner’s knowledge of the word.

Abstract: Management is the process of processing the information aiming decision making to resolve problem or to achieve the target. High advanced automated processes, including the vacuum system with pump and pressure control, management of the cooling system, management of the manipulator, high voltage control and emission current, the control of the electron beam movement and its characteristics, as well as computer-based automatic control ofthe beam power distribution, must be integrated on the basis of the use of systems for operational management of production. The present work presents the hierarchical structure and architectural framework for the management of an installation for electron beam welding, evaporation and surface modification.

This article provides an overview of an ITS-related application developed for Urban transport systems in Russia.

In today’s society, where the public relies increasingly on the transport network, Russian Federation, as the many other countries, faces tough challenges ahead. From congestion, safety to environmental impact, technology provides a rich variety of options to address existing and future concerns, and Intelligent Transport Systems are at the forefront.

Deregulation of public transport in Russian market places new challenges for national transport companies. There is an increasing need of new service models and operational schemes allowing improved transport offer and competitive advantages. Investments are necessary to optimize the use of transport resources and increase the quality of service for the customers.

Information and communications technologies play a fundamental role to achieve these objectives. This is the case with both flexible transport, where telematics allows to optimize resources and improve mobility services for the customers, and with optimization of regular, line based transport services.

Thereupon, coordinate (position data), time and the navigation support (CTNS) together with telecommunications became a main informational background for automation basic technologies for the Urban transport systems.

Changes, improvement, and finally the introduction of new solutions (innovations) in every area of the company’s activities, are an important part of its existence on the market. Among the characteristics of modern markets, those associated with dynamism are particularly important. Customers’ preferences and needs, the behavior of competitors are constantly changing. This happens in fact of geographically unrestricted access to products and their suppliers. This is accompanied by the possibility of access to key terms of operating efficiency, including innovation information management. They are (information) the cause of innovation, as well as one of the most important factors affecting the achievement of intended objective. This aim of this article is to analyze the possibilities and desirability of active management in conditions of globalization in terms of information, particularly in terms of efficient innovation management in a changing environment.

Enterprise interoperability is the ability of disparate and diverse information and control systems to work together efficiently towards mutually beneficial common goals. Some of the main tasks for achieving enterprise interoperability are connected with data and knowledge access and sharing and by use of model transformation. In this paper are presented and discussed several model transformations between different Technological Spaces: RDB, UML and OWL in order to enable ontology-based access to different models of enterprise data. At the core of the approach is the usage of reference models, based on the standard for enterprise integration ISO/IEC 62264.
